Yesterday our big girls started a new school year! Asha is in the 1st grade and I'm still slightly in shock that Taya is now a 4th grader! I don't feel like I'm old enough to be at this point, but I am! Jace starts today in the 2nd grade and next year Emi will start preschool in our district! Asha did really well yesterday letting mom go. She wore one of my fancy bobby pins in her hair and I told her that whenever she felt like she needed a mommy hug she could just touch it and I would feel her far away snuggles. Worked great! Taya couldn't get away fast enough and just wanted to go hang with her friends. Such a social butterfly just like her mama was!
